Bradley James Smith, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Smith was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He graduated with distinction from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor of science in biology. Dr. Smith attended Georgetown University where he earned a masters degree in physiology. He received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University/ A.I. duPont Hospital for Children. During his pediatric residency, Dr. Smith was the recipient of the Dr. John W. Maroney Award for excellence in ambulatory care (selected by pediatric faculty members). In 2010, Dr. Smith was recognized by parents as one of the Delaware Valley's Favorite Doctors for Children in MetroKids Magazine. Dr. Smith has been board certified in pediatrics since 2003 and is on staff at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children and Christiana Hospital.

Rebecca Anne Achterhof, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Achterhof was raised in Indiana. She graduated magna cum laude from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, with a bachelor of arts in biology. Dr. Achterhof received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children. In 2010, Dr. Achterhof was recognized by parents as one of the Delaware Valley's Favorite Doctors for Children in MetroKids Magazine. Dr. Achterhof has been board certified in pediatrics since 2005 and is on staff at A.I duPont Hospital for Children and Christiana Hospital. She currently lives in Pennsylvania with her husband.

Lauren M.

Lauren has journeyed over 350 miles to join our office in Newark, Delaware! Originally working as a Registered Nurse in Boston, Massachusetts, Lauren moved to Delaware to join our team in the Spring of 2011. She is a graduate student at the University of Delaware and will soon become a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. When not working or studying, she enjoys running or heading to the beach.

Mary

Don't be tricked by Mary's young appearance! She's an experienced pediatric medical assistant. Mary is the proud mother of a 3-year old boy. She has also been working in pediatrics for over three years. Before joining our team in the Spring of 2011, Mary had been working in a busy pediatric office in Newark. We were elated when she decided to join our growing team! When not working, Mary is busy spending time with her family and friends and being a full-time mother!

Holly

We are excited that Holly has recently joined our team! Holly's cheerful and charismatic personality has definitely been a wonderful addition to the office. Holly has been a medical assistant for the past eight years and has worked in several pediatric and family practices. When not working, Holly is busy with her infant son, spending time with friends or styling hair.

Breyanne

We are proud to welcome Breyanne to our clinical team! Breyanne is the newest medical assistant to join the practice and has over three years of clinical expertise. Breyanne's energetic and bubbly demeanor is warmly welcomed by our staff and patients. When not working, Breyanne spends her time going to Delaware County Community College to obtain her degree in healthcare management and administration. Breyanne has a four-year old daughter who is the joy of her life and keeps her on her toes at home. Please feel free to introduce yourself to her when scheduling your next well child appointment!

Adrianna

We are proud to welcome Adrianna to our administrative team. Adrianna is from Newark, Delaware and is currently attending Delaware State to obtain her nursing degree. She has an extensive background working in emergency medicine and has a passion for pediatrics. When not working in our office, she is spending time with her two puppies at home. She also dedicates her time volunteering in the Special Olympics.
